I believe that the number one way to learn is to be CONSISTENT. Consistency is the key to making progress in all areas of our lives.

As a stenographer, if you are consistent with the proper practice and study method that is designed for you, YOU WILL EXCEL. Failure is a choice so look for reasons to succeed and do not encourage reasons to accept failure.

Everyone has the ability to learn and do well, but you have to make learning a priority. Speak out if you are struggling with learning at topic, talk to a mentor or a coach, do a research and read up online, reach out to other students through different platforms, organize practice sessions regularly, do it, even when you don’t feel like and watch yourself fall in love with stenography.

Consistently schedule your tasks properly and strategically, do it over and over again while improving upon it and enjoy your ride on your way to become a successful stenographer.

Harriet Tubman is my hero. She inspired generations of people who struggled for inclusion, for a better life, she liberated people in captivity and gave them hope. She was faced with lots of challenges but she did not stop, she prevailed with determination and went ahead to become one of the greatest women of our time.

• Paint – Painting stimulates my imagination.
• Cook – I follow a plant-based diet and I like to try out new recipes
